They got two new churches. The two churches were the Roman Catholic and the Easter Orthodox. Differences between the easter and western Christian churches continued to grow. Then in 1054 these disagreements led to schism. The result was the creation of Roman Catholic and Easter Orthodox.
There differences were that the roman catholics did not allow priest to marry, unlike the eastern orthodox which allowed priests to marry.
Roman catholics think that the pope has the right over the bishops while the orthodox think that the patriarch
and other bishops are head of the church as a group.
They also have similarities for example they based there faith on the
gospel of Jesus and the bible.they also seek to convert people.
The consequences for the Eastern Orthodox are that they have a better chance of going to war because the pope can't inter -fear with the emperors orders.
The consequences for the Roman Catholic is that the pope can make the decisions instead of the emperor but sometimes it would be better if the emperor made the decisions because he knows what's better for the empire.
This is what we can conclude for the two churches.
the differences between the orthodox and the roman catholic church start with the roman catholic in the west and the orthodox in the eastern and another one is that they both of disagreed on their ideas like the roman catholic church believed that the pope was more powerful than the king they thought that the popes had the most power out of the whole emperor and the orthodox thought that the kings were the most one with out their kingdom! the church state relations that they had was that they got along by that they both base their faith to the gospel of Jesus and the Bible, their religious leaders are the priests and the bishops. They also went to seek people so they can convert them.
The difference between the Orthodox and the Roman Catholic churches are... that in the Orthodox church there are kings that rule over everything and the Roman Catholic the popes ruled over the kings/emperors. The priests in the Orthodox could get married, but in the Roman Catholic church the priests couldn't get married. After he schism of the two churches there was two different empire religion. There was a Roman Catholic empire and there was the Eastern Orthodox Empire. The two churches believed in the gospel of Jesus and also the Bible. The two churches are both seek to convert people.
One difference between the two churches is that in the Roman Catholic the pope is more powerful than the emperor.Another difference is that in the Roman Catholic church the priests may not marry and in the Eastern Orthodox church priests may be married. In the Eastern Orthodox church the emperor claims authority over all religious leaders and in the Roman Catholic church the pope claims authority over all kings and emperors. Another difference is that in the Roman catholic church the services are spoken in Latin or other local languages and in the Eastern Orthodox services are spoken in Greek or other local languages. And the last difference is that in Roman Catholic church the pope has authority over all the other bishops and in the Eastern Orthodox church then patriarch and all the other bishops head the church as a group. Those are the differences between the two churches.
I THINK THE ANSWER TO THIS QUESTION IS THAT THE CONSEQUENCES OF THE ROMAN CATHOLIC DEVELOPED THE POPE CLAIMED ATHOURITEY OF NOT JUST A CHURCH BUT KINGS AND EMPERORS.
THE ESTER ORTHODOXY EMPEROR HAD RULED OVER THE PATRIARCH LEADER OF ORTHODOX CHURCH.
